    Hello Nakamichi,

I would recommend that you reset the receiver. Before doing that you can save your settings before resetting. First, you want to store the settings(this is all done on the front panel while the unit is on) Hold down Setup and toggle Enter twice. Then reset the receiver by holding down Cable/Sat and then standby. The unit will say “clear” and shut down. Then power the unit back up, to recall your settings hold down SETUP and toggle  RETURN twice. See if you are able to get the receiver to be recognized on the network.

    Thank you

    Jennifer

Thanks Jennifer. Will that keep my Dirac settings too or do I need to reload them?

Reset wiped the Dirac settings so I had to restore them but now the correct WIFI network shows up. Thanks!

    Hello Nakamichi

Sorry about the Dirac settings. But I'm glad that the receiver is recognizable on your network.

Thank you and have a great day!

Hello, I own an Integra DRX-3.4.   I have tried restarting it and unplugging it and replugging it.   The problem is that when I try to use any of the other buttons it resets after a short time to TV.  I still receive the video on my Playstation and Switch but loose the Audio.  Anything else I can do?

    Hello James,

If you could provide a more information for you having to restart, unplug and replug the unit, what is the original issue to having to do this? Your mentioning that when use any of the buttons that the unit resets itself, are you showing a clear message on the front of the unit when it does that?

    Thank you

I think it may be the MRF-350 remote link.  I am going to check that out.  If that is not it I will get back to you.  Thanks Jennifer.

    Hello James,

Thank you for the heads up. If the remote control is not the issue let me know so that I can assist you with the troubleshooting setups. Good Luck!

    Thank you,

    Jennifer

Hi Jennifer, the remote was not the issue.  Not using the remote and working the DRX-3.4 manually I press, for example, Cable/Sat button and it switches to cable/Sat and I get picture and sound for a short period of time and it switches to “TV” and I loose sound but still have cable/Sat picture.  As I mentioned before I already went through your reset procedures at least twice and I am still having the same issue.

It always turns back to the “TV" no matter what other button I have pressed.  And always the picture stays on and I loose the sound.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

    J.C.

    Hello James,

Go into the setup of the receiver under the 6.Hardware Setup, Audio Return Channel set that to Off. Then see if you are able to select other inputs on the receiver and it stay.

    Thank you

    Hi Jennifer,

That did not work either so I turned ARC back on.  Any other ideas?

    Good Morning James,

Ok, go back in the Hardware setup and turn off the HDMI CEC.

    Thank you

    Jennifer,

Okay, I turned it of and the sound and picture play together. Yay!

Have I lost any functionality by turning off the HDMI CEC?  What does the HDMI CEC do?

    Thanks.

I have a Universal Remote Control MRF 350 base station and a RF sensor RFX-250.  I believe the 250 went out on the system and I have ordered a new Remote.  Will I need to turn the HDMI CEC on again once I plug the new base station and RF sensor in, for it to work ?

    Hello James,

Since you had two comments I just combined my response into one:

CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) allows HDMI-connected devices to be controlled with a single remote and enables communication between devices to automatically switch to the correct input based on the active source.

Going back to your previous question about the TV input being active when there was no sound from the sources: when CEC is enabled, the receiver recognized that the TV was powered on and automatically switched to the TV input.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the devices you are using with the MRF-350 base station. However, HDMI-CEC does not have any control over RF base stations, so it should not affect or manage the operation of the MRF-350.

    Thank you

    Jennifer
