Pure audio listening mode
I have “upgraded” from an onkyo txnr7100 to the Integra DRX 3.4 because of pre outs and this receiver doesnt have Pure audio listening mode. How is this possible? IsIsn't this supposed to be the same receiver but “better or higher quality”?
If it's possible i would like to see the Pure audio as a feature. I mostly like the feature because it's awesome for stereo listening. With 1 press of a button it disables the subwoofers and sets the front speakers to full bandwidth.
If i turn ththe subwoofer off in the avr it also deletes all my dirac calibration. And i dont like manually changing the crossover every time when ai want to listen to music.

Hello Csaba,
I'm sorry that the Pure Audio feature has been removed off the DRX 3.4. However, you have the Direct listening model which has the same function as the Pure Audio. The only thing that the Pure Audio did was disabled the analog video circuit within the receiver. That's why the front panel was off and any analog video device doesn't displays an image onto the tv. As you were mentioning turning off the subwoofer manually, when you select the Direct listening mode that also turns off the subwoofer just like the Pure Audio function. Unfortunately, there is no Direct button on the front panel like the Pure Audio button was on the TXNR7100. But if you use one of the listening mode buttons(Game, Music, Movie/TV) they will take to you the Direct listening mode.
Thank you
Jennifer
