Get start with Web Setup

Web Setup is single page web application.
To start Web Setup, please follow the steps below.

1. Connect your PC or smart device terminal (hereinafter this is called "terminal") to the LAN (no internet required)
2. Connect your device to your LAN (no internet required)
3. Check the IP address of the device (* 1)
4. Open a browser on your terminal and enter the URL http://(IP Address of device)
5. When the authentication screen for login appears ciuser, enter the user name = ciuser and password = ciuser. (* 2)

You can confirm it by following ways,

• Press INFO key(only Integra model)
• Open Setup and confirm Network > IP Address

Features

Setup/Quick Setup/Tuner Preset

Setup/Quick Setup are same features as the on-screen display (OSD) one.

Tuner Preset is same feature as remote-control or panel key operation.

Store/Recall

These are same features as Store/Recall of the device.

Backup and upload configurations

Backup Configuration to File downloads the device configurations to the terminal.
Upload Configuration from File is the reverse operation of Backup ... and uploads configurations file from the terminal to the device.

Factory Reset

This is same feature as Factory Reset of the device.

Status infomation + Control

Web Setup can display current status of following infomations,

• Zone
  • Power
  • Volume
  • Selector
  • Mute
• 12V Trigger
• Amp infomations
  • Protect
  • Temparature
  • FAN Speed
• Audio infomation(except Output Sampling Freq.)
• Video infomation

Only power is controlable.

Print Current Configuration

Web Setup can display data optimized for printing layout.

Change login password

You can change your password from the additional menu >Change Password
The following characters cannot be used.

• space
• Non-ASCII characters

After changing the password, you will need to reload Web Setup.

Screen

The screen consists of the following drawing areas.

• header
• Navigation bar
• Setup contents
• Additional menu side bar

Navigation bar

This is navigation menu for setup contents.
Sub menu is shown when hover mouse cursor on Main menu.
Click an menu to jump to that item.

Setup contents

You can change the setup contents from the GUI control.
The setup user interface consists of the following GUI controls.

• radio button
• button
• select box
• textbox
• slider
• tab

radio button

This is a screenshot of a radio button.

This is similar to a standard HTML radio button.
Web Setup will the current settings grayed out if the item cannot be changed.

button

This is a screenshot of the button.

This is similar to a standard HTML button.

select box

This is a screenshot of the select box.

This is similar to a standard HTML select box.

Tips
When type a character on focused select box, you can select items that start with the character.
Please use it when there are many selection items.

textbox

This is a screenshot of the textbox.

This is similar to a standard HTML select box.
Web Setup display error dialog when inputing text of non- ASCII charactors.

slider

Slider is made of following components,

• bar
• knob
• label
• value display area
• Non-numeric checkbox(ex. Last, Off)

Slider has following designs,

design	exsample	note
normal
zero centered, signed value		The bar is drawn side to side arround zero.
including addtional values		The bar is not available when the box checked

Here are operations of the slider.

operation	result
drag and drop the knob	set the value of knob's position
click on bar area to the right or left of the knob(*1)	left -> -1 step, right -> +1 step
press left/right cursor key when slider in focus(*1,*2)	left -> -1 step, right -> +1 step

(*1) Press and hold the key to repeat.
(*2) Press TAB key or click the bar to focus.

The amount of steps is depnedent on setup menu.
This may be dependent on other settings(ex. Tuner Frequency Step)

--- is displayed on value area when slider is not available.

Tap operation of smart devices is same as click operation.

Tips
You may feel difficult for setting the value near the Max or Min value.
Please try following operations.

1. Set Max or Min value
2. Click the bar area to the left or right of the knob to adjust.

tab

This is a screenshot of the tab.

This is similar to the tab control on Windows GUI.

Note
Unlike PC-Setup, changing to each settings are applied immediately without moving tabs.

status dialog

This is a screenshot of the status dialog.

Only power can be controlled.
Power status is toggled when mouse hover and click.

Others

Loading screen

Web Setup needs to load the device settings when the page loads.
This is screenshot of loading screen.

Alert

Alert dialog is displayed for warning of opearations.

The following is a warning screen when trying to going to the standby with the network standby = Off setting.

Alert screen has buttons to confirm to continue or cancel the operation.

Lock screen

The screen of Web Setup is locked in the following situations.

• Main zone is in standby
• Miscellaneous > Lock > Setup = Locked
• After applying network settings
• After running Factroy Reset
• After running Recall
• After uploading settings
• Initial Setup/Speaker measurement(e.g. AccuEQ/MCACC)

This is screenshot of the lock screen.
If unlockable, an unlock button will appear.
Web Setup is redrawn and available when screen is unlocked.

If unlocking is not possible, a screen prompting you to reload manually will be displayed.
If the URL changes, such as when the network is changed, a guide to reload page will be displayed.

Error screens

Networking error

This screen is displayed when websetup meet unrecorable networking errors.
(ex. LAN cable is unplugged, Network is down, etc...)

About keyboard operation

Web Setup supports basic keyboard operations, but it is browser-dependent and does not fully support it.
